Versus Dissidia is a new roleplay group that appeals to Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts characters! So since we’re new, we have a ton of empty spots! Also don’t be misled by the group name, we aren’t strictly a Dissidia-based roleplay group. Be sure to come and check us out, alright?
Reno knew that the cadet had entered into an awkward stage right after his first response. He couldn’t really hold it against him though. The Turk probably wasn’t his first choice of company and they didn’t have much in common. Or at least that’s what he believed. Poor little infantryman has also been mocked past comfort anyway, so of course he’d be wary. Nonetheless, he’d still bother with him. There was a sort of faint attachment budding in the redhead for the other, so it didn’t matter how much silence would be served to him- being with this blond as a companion was just fine as it. He could do the talking anyhow. He mostly did the talking with a lot of people he frequented with anyway.
“Heh yeah, can’t do much about it.” He gave a grin when his mind befell thoughts of the SOLDIER they were speaking of. “But he makes up for it with his combat.” Praising the absent black-haired man, he shook his head a bit. Because Zack really did have the strength to be on par with his willpower and charm. It was reassuring really and even if he would jeer at the SOLDIER’s state of mind, he still valued him as a colleague and all.
“Ne, but enough about the man-child. What’s up with you?” Besides all the cadets treating him like crap and the prior topic they were on. But he figured Cloud would understand what he meant. Hopefully.
Honestly he was too quick to jump to conclusions. The cadet honestly hopped that the red head didn’t take the silence the wrong way. Honestly it had nothing to do with the Turk, it wasn’t his fault that Cloud was so awkward. Reno honestly wasn’t bad company and the blonde enjoyed having him around but he never knew what to talk about. Zack was so easy, they’d talk about where they came from since they were both from the country, and when they didn’t talk about that they’d talk about missions and training. Thinking that over did give him a bit of an idea though, sure the training was different between the two branches but maybe they could train together sometime, it would help Cloud get more used to Reno so they could talk more easily. It seemed worth a shot to suggest…
He let the older male finish up before jumping in and suggesting it though. “Yeah, he’s really good, I mean he made it to first after all.” The next thing out of the Turks mouth made Cloud aware that he wasn’t the only one trying to end the early topics. He thought it over a second and figured there really was nothing new with him other then what had been said.
“Not much goes on with just me. I mean, you pretty much know everything.” He sighed a bit with a pause. “I’ve been having some trouble training lately though since Zack’s been away. None of the others want to train with me so I only get to learn the lessons and hope I can do it right later on.”
Once again pausing the blonde glanced at the red head, hoping he was catching on. Either way he’d vocalize it since he knew that no one, not even Reno, would jump to conclusions on what he meant since they all didn’t want to be wrong. On occasion the other Cadets would but they wouldn’t honestly try, they’d simply take it in a way they could tease him with. “Would you mind helping me train sometime? Since the training works differently instead of just working on it maybe we can do some practice fights?”

“Ah yeah,” he remarked in agreement as he leaned back, furthering the distance between them. “Zack certainly has a certain attitude to him. Makes me wonder if he’s actually the age he claims to be.” Because seriously that black-haired SOLDIER had a little to much pep in his personality. But who was he to complain? It made being around him more fun and was definitely a good change to the rest of the workaholics that work for Shin-Ra.
But still, Reno thought that the cadet was a bit different with the puppy-like male. Or that could just be him.

“Yeah, I guess.” Honestly the cadet was beginning to feel uncomfortable with this conversation. Sure they strayed off of the whole thing with how he and Zack are, mostly meaning their feelings, but it was still connected in a sense. He didn’t really feel it was something they should be talking about but he couldn’t really help that they ended up on the subject. What could he do to change the topic though?
He didn’t have much else to say and even if he did unless Reno started a conversation or change of subject Cloud would usually stumble around trying to figure out how make whatever he had to say seem interesting. If Reno started talking it was obvious he had intrest in what was being said so he didn’t have to worry about that so much. That was probably the only real reason he spoke less with Reno then he did with Zack.
All of that thought process had ended up causing an embarrassing silence on Cloud’s side. It honestly hadn’t been as long as he thought but he felt like he was thinking over things for years in those few seconds. He let out a slight cough before finally responding properly. “I mean, it’s pretty true. I mean sometimes he gets so childish he seems like he’s ten. It’s just how he is though.”
